How much soil should I buy?

I was wondering how much soil i should buy if i'm growing 1 maybe 2 plants in a little apartment grow?

if u gonna do this next year just buy a small bag of potting soil. i have a 20 pound bag if they got a smaller size go for it. maybe a 10 to 5 lb. bag will be fine for 3 plant or more. good luck.

how big are your pots?

2 gallon pots are considered pretty small, good for 2-3 foot plant
1 cubic foot of soil will fill about 5 gallons of volume, soil bags are often labeled in cubic feet

I buy one 1.5cf bag of FoxFarms once or twice year. That keeps my 2-3 plant perpetual harvest going fine.
