how much yied do i need for personal use?

i wanted to know if im smoking 3 grams a day how many plants should i grow at a time to never have to buy weed again?... also i can only let my plants get a bout 4 feet tall so how many am i trying to grow to get what i want? doesnt even matter what type of strain... it could even be bag seed im just tired of wasting and not investing my money into growing

You're smoking 3/4 of an ounce every week. One 3-4' plant will give you around 1-2 ounces(+/-) indoors, even better outdoors with supercropping.

so would u say about 4 plants?

Really depends on how good of a grower you become. Your goal is about 3 ounces per month and you need to harvest enough to last you the duration of your next grow, about 3-4 months depending on medium and strain. I'm really just throwing a number out there because that's what new growers seem to want(I was one once), but I would try to grow around 8 plants, maybe more. 2 ounces per plant is quite doable if you pick a nice indica strain and you stay on top of your shit. Make no mistake, this will take a lot of work and research on your part. There's a reason why everybody doesn't do this. Not trying to discourage you, just letting you know what you're in for. get the hang of it like downonwax said. then you can learn to clone and flip three plants a month and have all you will need after that.
