how often do seeds get mixed into potting soil?

so i have a beautiful girl i planted outdoors in a 6'wide 3'deep hole and she has really taken off! strange thing tho, i have a bunch of sprouts coming up from my mix. nothing out of the ordinary except i counted 6-7 that look like weed sprouts.

did somebody throw some seeds into my potting soil or is this some sorta phenomena where the rootscome back up and start sprouting? i dug one up careful not to disturb the roots and they didn't seem to be connected to the main roots. what gives?

if it helps its a lemon kush clone i started a month indoors prior to transplant and is currently healthy and huge for the time of year! also i have been LST'ing the crap out of it.

Do you mean weeds or cannabis? Unfortunately, cannabis does not spread by roots like ivy or mint. I would expect to see weeds and other plants sprout by your outdoor plant. Especially near your plant since the environment near it is probably much better than surrounding areas; soil is better (potting soil), moisture is better (you water it), etc. Just yank them out carefully, they will compete for resources with your plant. G/l with the grow!

yep hero ,, your getting real weeds coming up thru the soil,, as above stated pull anything thats not attached to your girl. there are a lot of things out there that look like maryjane and will fool ya but there is only one cannabis that is real. if you didn't plant it pull it..lol

these 'weeds' i refer to look like cannabis plants although it's been awhile since i sprouted seeds to compare them to. they are definetely not connected to the root system since i pulled them but managed to save them and stuck em in a pot to see what they grow into. could be just another weed that resembles cannabis.
