how often do you check water ph for soil grow?

Just wondering how often it is needed to be checked? I have a gallon jug I've been watering my little ones with, and the ph seemed to have risen, but it's been like 10 days since I first adjusted it. Does it go up and down?

You should use some sort of filtered/distilled water for the plants and that you should only need to check once to make sure the pH is 7. The pH of the soil is a more important value. You should check soil pH regularly until you know that your system of growing creates the correct pH.

I use store bought spring water and I only check it once for each gallon of water I buy. (Obviously be sure to check it after adding nutes) I've never had any PH problems.

I don't use my tap water because it likes to kill things. Not even my dog will drink it. :(

Well, tap water around here isn't too bad to drink as far as I know. How much does a gallon of spring water cost at the store?
