How often should I feed with foxfarm nutrient line

I have a few grows under my belt using the foxfarm nutrient line, so far I have been following their feeding schedule with minor tweaks to fit my plants longer veg and bloom cycles, so far everything has gone well no burned plants and I'm happy with my end results. But I would like to step it up a notch and try pushing things a bit, My goal here being bigger plants and yield.

So here is my question.. On the foxfarm soil feeding schedule in big letters it says feed two times a week, But if you read the small print it says for best results feed with every other watering, So if I water two times a day, that would mean feeding once a day, Is feeding once a day OK to do? or will I burn my plants? I would prefer to hear from someone who has tried this or does this successfully already, before I attempt to try on my own. Thanks.

Hi. Even feeding with every watering is fine, as long as you keep the nutrient concentration at optimal levels. Meaning: the frequency of feeding doesn't burn the plants, but the concentration of nutrients does. For example, let's say you were feeding once in two days, with 2ML of nutrients per one litre of water and then you switch to feeding every day, you will have to half your nutrient concentration to 1ML per litre in order to keep the same amount of nutrient provided to the plant.
Since your goal is to slightly increase the amount of food you're giving to your plants, your best bet would be to just increase the nutrient concentration a bit and see what happens in the following days.

I've been feeding with every watering, sometimes every day and never had a problem. As I said the key is nutrient concentration, not the feeding frequency.

But, if for some reason you can't mix your nutrients in a way I described and want to stick to the way you've been doing it so far, then definitely don't switch to every day, as that would translate to about three times as much nutrient as to what you've been giving them so far.

@epicbud Thanks for the reply.

@hotshotisdashit One in the ground and one in a 20 gallon smart pot with FoxFarm ocean forest soil. This is outdoors and I'm in the desert It's 100°+ during the day and very dry. I have tried watering once a day and it just gets too dry for my liking, The plants even start to show stress sometimes if I'm running late on the daily watering.
