How reputable are White Label seeds ?

Well the reason I ask this question is after reading an article on how White Label entered the seed market selling F2 seeds. I can see where this practice does not improve stability . The end result is a crap shoot of sorts . What happens is the increased variation in possible phenos. I now have first hand knowledge of what can happen with F2s in my current White Widow grow. One of the girls is a complete mystery to me . This is after growing White Widow from other sources for several years now. All the other WW plants from the past shared a lot of the same structure, smell , bud frostiness , potency and taste. Not this one . At day 68 of 12/12 not much tric development at all. In fact I have to look hard to see anything resembling trics on the bud or bud leaves. I will include some pics to see what you think. .........

Honestly I will just stick with Bulldog or Female Seeds for my WW seeds anymore. Everything about this WW from White Label is just a disappointment. She looks great but where the hell is the snow I am used to seeing on my WW buds and leaves ? I know she is almost done in a few more days. At this stage with the other WW from other sources, they would be done and covered in frosty goodness.

Ah well, I guess we all learn the hard way.

Hard to see from pictures how they "look". I'd be more interested in how they smoke personally. I'm gonna assume you haven't yet.

AFAIK White Label seeds is an offshoot of Sensi Seeds.

WL is attached to Sensi, shares many of the same genetics and some of the same technical folks. It's the no-frills sister-company, if you like - 'no frills' meaning less expensive packaging, no advertising, but not lower quality.
Some of the more experimental projects - like feminised seeds - start out as WL projects and eventually come to the Sensi brand if they prove interesting enough.

Lol, bulldog or female I got $50 that says they get there WW seed from the same fem seed producer. their is only 1 white widow f1 out there its now called Black Widow from MR. Nice Arjan claims he has it but we all know thats bullshit cause they would still have f1's of everything Shanti took with him when he left greenhouse. But if you look at grows of the BW their still not all insanely frosty but you get that one god damn. Just look at what Pacific got. I don't know about you but I'm jealous.

Not many people know this but do any of you know BOG? i.e. BoggleGum, BogBubble, Lifesaver, ect, whatever!

...His original Bubble Gum came from White Label seeds.. White label has since changed the name to Double Gum or something. I hope this helps, I want to try the Double Gum since BOG is stingy with his seeds.

Yeah I don't know about BOG when it comes to breeding there the only ones I've seen breed with tga shit I think it was just jack the ripper but come on he's taking a polly hybrid bred from polly hybrids to make his own super deluxe polly hybrid I doubt you'll find 2 alike in 100 beans but somehow he does have fans. but you do still get good plants from polly's but wtf they should be cheaper when you can get a true f1 for the same price sometimes less and the breeder did some hard work like SSH was an (f4 skunk x haze) x (f4 nl5 x haze) someone bringing two lines to f4 before crossing is a lot more work then fucking with polly's but they charge the same sometimes more for polly's except dj short he's pretty pricey.

I looked at some pics of WW from my previous grows. Even with less than optimal conditions at times they always frosted up ....always .....regardless of seed source. One plant left in the shade of the grow room finished up like she had more sugar than bud. No kidding. The same with my experience with Bulldog seeds. In fact what is most rewarding about WW is never the yield but the tric production that makes you want to stay looking at its non stop development. I selected White Label as I knew about the Sensi connection. Then took it for granted that I would be getting some of the finest WW ever grown in my garden. I compared the bud structure to the White Label WW site pic and even there the "model" plant does not have the typical frosty appearance. They say it is the definitive WW in existence. As a seasoned WW smoker for years I will tell you all for sure if their claims hold up. Another week or so and then harvest . That will be 75 days of 12/12. If not ready at that point, then another reason to stay the hell away from White Label anymore. ...................................

(As for BOG.....I sought advice from this preeminent grower some years back on another site ........his bogglegum harvests were like nothing else .......he was not even in the seed business himself then. Somehow, perhaps too many requests for his seeds pushed him to share his wonderful cannabis genetics. )

I took a sample bud from the lower part of the plant last week . That was at day 60 of 12/12. I let it day for 5 days. From past grows with WW, sample smoke is only taken after week 8. Well this time my impressions were not good at all. I smoke and grow so much WW that my whole system is attuned to the taste, smell and potency of this strain. Ok , taste was not even slightly close to what I would allow for WW even at 8 weeks. Smell does not register as WW to my nose. Potency was way way off. Lets all keep in mind that WW is not a sativa dom plant that may require 3 or 4 months to finish. I think at over 8 weeks there should be some defininate clues as to the end result. Again, when she finishes I will be first to say , I was wrong and really it turned out some of the best smoke ever. As of now I will be pleasantly surprised if that does indeed happen.

I agree his strains are good but I look at where he attained them. I wished to shed this information since I have been a former OverGrow member since 1998 and I remember the BOG bubblegum madness. :) I also believe credit should be due to original breeders in an effort to document the true linage of strains. Shanti, Neville, Arjan, DJ Short, ect.. They command higher dollar than most and I respect that - They have contributed well to the cannabis work we all respect.

Speaking of this, you might find shitty females in Sensi Seeds and winners in White Label. Sometimes it`s all the luck of the dice!

Ps, You were on overgrow too . I was practically living on that site ....lol.........Oh man there were some great growers and grows on there. BOG had a huge audience for his bubblegum. He gave me some small tips in my bubblegum grow and the yields were like out of this world........Yep I miss that site ......and all the members there too .....Bilbobaggins one of the greatest ..............I miss Heavens Strairway and Cannabisworld.com as well ....
