Hey guys I see this question asked over and over but there seems to be conflicting opinions on the subject. I'm trying to figure out how to run a perpetual SCROG when i have a 6x4 flower room with 800 watts of CXB3590s and a 2x4 veg room with 200 watts of CXB3590s.
Here are the common suggestions I read along with my thoughts on them:
1) Some people say to just let them Veg in my veg section for a month or so WITHOUT a screen. Then they say to move to flower room with a Screen and let veg for another week or so into the screens. My problem with this is what if im running perpetual and i alraedy have some plants in the flower room that are at day 60 of flower? I cant just flip the lights to18/6 in flowering room cuz ill be ruining my mature plants right? Why do ppl say to move from veg to flower room and let veg for another couple weeks into screen? Are they assuming there were no plants in that flower room to begin with??
2) Some people say to do modular scrog (attach screen to pot of plant or similar) and move the plant with attached screen from veg room to flower room when ready, and call it a day. The thing is: if i am limited on space in veg room i can only build a small screen. Taking that small screen into a larger flower space is pretty pointless if my plant is limited to that small screen right??
3) some people say to veg into a screen like you normally would. And when i am ready to flip to flower I should take the entire screen off the plant then take the plant to the flower room where a permanent screen is at. Then i tuck the plant back into the new screen? my problem with this is: whats the point of vegging into a screen if i am going to just remove that plant from the screen in a month or so??
Anyone have suggestions on an ideal scrog system for my veg/bloom rooms' specifics? Im in the middle of constructing the actual grow room so ironing these kinds of details out now would extremely help keep scrog in mind when i design layout of every thing. Thanks in advance you guys r the best!
