how to connect PC fan to ductwork?

Anyone have a good method of connecting a pc fan into ductwork to exhaust a growbox? 120mm.

no, that's the trouble. I'm thinking I need to make a manifold for it, or a housing that it would go into which connects to the ducting

You will need to build a manifold like you say. I don't know of anything available off the shelf.

Even a 120mm pc fan doesn't have a lot of power to push air through much duct length. I hope your duct is short, if not, try a fan on each end in a push pull config.

If you go walk through the heating section in a home depot or whatever you might find a duct adapter or something you can easily modify.

just a cardboard box like the size of a shoe box works great as a manifold

when i had a small cab for clones and mums i was useing 4 120mm pc fans for intake,i found 125mm Semi-rigid aluminium ducting the best to use,its very easy to bend the ducting around the fan to make a nice tight fit

Nice, could I find this at home depot or lowes? Would you cut a seam down the length of the tubing and bend it arround the fan, then duct tape it up? How would you connect 4" ducting to this? Thanks a ton
