I've been using the Grove bags ( with heat sealing) to cure instead of jars. Great results - still wonderful smelling and appearing after 3 months or more. I'll never use Ziplocs again, ever, for anything. The mid-sized bags are in super high demand, but you can generally find the 1 lb. bags and 1 oz bags in stock.
