How to deal with a Sativa

I just checked on a garden I had not seen since it was started. It is now 2 1/2 weeks into flower and It is showing very strong sativa properties, it had streached about 2x ( it is 19 females on a 4x4 ebb and flow table under a 1000w hps) already, I am not have issues with head room, and I really don't anticipate any but I was wondering if there is anything I can do now to stop further upward growth now that I am in flowering. I'm not going to top, but I was wondering if maybe bending would help I don't have really any experience with sativas the 5 grows I have done have always been indicas, and I don't know what to expect as far as streaching. I have kept the nuts down and they all look extremely healthy. I know I am not going to get a great yeild, but I am excited for a change in buzz. Well anyone with any experience with sativas that could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks

MH lights can help. Sativas will grow like crazy under HPS lights.
