I just bought the aerogarden and didn't do much research before hand but, I notice it only goes 24 inches (2 feet) high and I don't think thats going to be enough space for my plants. Does anyone know how to make it talller?
thanks.

I cant help you today but I get my aerogarden monday and I was thinking the same question you asked because i didnt get a tall one, but if you call aerogardens customer service they should tell you how. I know aerogrow.com sells tools to remove the top light part and they sell a replacement taller top part.
Hope that helps somehow

i think they have a extender i just got mine as well or you can just take the extender off and hang the light some how

Most aerogardens have a tab on the top of the light so that you can remove it from the arm that usually holds it. If you get a figure 8 cord (cheap on Ebay, available at radio shack, etc) you can then plug the light in. It's easiest to hook this plug into a timer to keep your plants on a normal light schedule.

You can hang most aerogarden light hoods from a chain. I find that most 3/4" s hooks will fit securely under the outermost plastic layer of the aerogarden light hood--you can then hang it on chains and your problem is solved. Add some side CFLs when the plants get bushy and you're good to go.
