how to set up PC fan

so i have 2 fans that i plan to use for a box. one is a 5v and one is a 7v. i stripped the wires and put some metal things on the end to hook up to whatever i want. but my problem is what do i hook them up to? im thinking wire them to a battery but ive been told thats not a good idea. what should i wire these to?

i used a mobile phone charger mate just cut the end off the charger off and ul have 2 wires and just conect them to the wires on the fan

thats exactly what i was thinking i found an old phone charger that has a output of 5v...YES!!! haha. but for the 7v fan can i use another 5v phone charger and it wil just make it spin a lil slower or should i find a 7v charger?

yes you can use a 5 mate will just run a tad slower
