How to wire up porcelain fixture?

So I just got a porcelain light fixture e40, I‘d just need some help wiring it up though. I only got 2 wires, blue and brown. I’d appreciate the help.

I think you need to get a wire on 1 and on 2 in pic with screws or solder

There are screws in there, so no need to solder. Just don’t know if the blue one goes on the left side or on the right side.

I don’t think the polarity matters

Light Bulbs - With some appliances, polaritydoesn't matter. ... However, with lamps, polarity is important. When you screw a light bulb into a socket, the electricity is intended to flow into the light bulb from the button on the bottom of the socket. Its the black or hot connection.

Check which one goes to the bottom and screw the hot lead on there
