HPS lighting help?????

I have 70 watt hps security light. i was wondering if anyone knew how to use it for growing because it is supposed to be mounted on the wall. Is there any way i can be able to adjust the height?

You dont have to mount in on a wall. A hook from the ceiling and some metal chain, and you could adjust to any height u want.

thanx. i also was wondering if any one knew how i can just add a normal plug onto the security light. The brand is Lithonia Lighting designer area light. please look it up the box say is ideal for wall mounting.

I took a light socket out of my ceiling to use in my grow room, and i just cut a power cord off a lamp and wired it to the light socket... works great.

you don't have to go cutting wires on the ceiling.lowes sells a porcelin light mount for $1.50
