Humic and fulvic in hydro, root problems?

Hi all

I once tried using those acids in a rdwc system and i noticed i got a fairly big problem with pythium so i never really tried again.
Is there a connection with using humic and fulvic and having a higher likelihood of getting root problems or were the problems i had due to other reasons?

Thanks

I don't know if it does or not.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if it helps pythium by creating a organic sludge coating on everything.

I wouldn't use it in hydro.

I use Ful-power in rdwc and haven't had a problem.
I also use Flying Skull z7 and change res maybe once per flower cycle if that.
Haven't had one issue.

Humic and fulvic acids are very stable organic compounds, thus not digestible by most microorganisms. They will not feed evil microorganisms in your res.

I've been using Botanicare Liquid Karma for years with great success. It has a water soluble Humic Acid in it.
