Humid Harvest Help Here

Here's the scoop. Harvested a few hundred grams of bud the other day, some loose, couple whole, all mostly stripped. I've been figurin' the cellar would be ideal. Never have used it before, but this is now.
Ran some line, hung the bud, put a thermometer and an 12" oscillating fan down there, fan on low.
Now, we've been here 15 years and never have had any mold issues that we knew/know of . . . I garden and onions stored well down there, tomatos hung, potatos potato-ed.
Later, I go down and see the thermometer says 60*F/ 70% RH (I guess it's relative?) I think, WOW, that's pretty high . . . a bit more than I wish, for sure.

Ok, the door is on the side of the house, next to another house, separated by a fence . . . kinda like an alley. Luckilly, no smells seem to be coming out (it's too cold down there) and it's been HOT here. I could've blown some of the cold, damp air out before I hung that shit, but now it'd be too much hassle . . . unless ya'll tell me I'm truly in danger of being ruined.

So I've been leaving the door open all day and turned the fan up to medium and am allowing that air to actually blow on the plants some 3-4 feet away.
As cold air takes forever to rise (un-aided) it's still about the same temp/rh today as it was three days ago.
The herb seems fine, but there's that musky, dank cellar stench in the air already (not huge, but there), so I think that could mask any mold smell, at least at first.

My question . . . should I be fine as long as I pay attention or am I in eminent danger? Also, any reduce humidity without making a big stink tips?

Thanks a million . . . this is quite important.

When drying your buds you want low humidity 10-15% is good and you want the temps to be around 60-68 degrees and your buds will dry perfect. To much heat and the thc will start to degrade and humidity will give mold which you know already:blsmoke:

I ended up totin' a box fan down there and puttin' it at the bottom of the stairs, blowing out of the cellar, on hi. Still couldn't smell the weed outside, so that's great. The humidity has dropped 10% in 3 hours and the temp is in the mid-60's, so that's approaching ideal, I think. Turned the "bud" fan back down to lo and adjusted it to blow just under the goodies.

Sounds good. I would use paper bags or even large plastic storage bins. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!
