Hydro Pots for soil

I recently visited my local hydro shop. I wasn't sure as of what i wanted to get yet but i needed some pots .. so i grabbed i think it was 7x7 inch square white pots. I didn't realize until i got out of the store that they were hydro pots and had drainage holes about halfway up the corners of the pot... think this is going to expose my roots to too much light .. what could i use to keep em covered if it might be a problem.

CAn you take em back for an exchange? If not , You should be able to use them.

Actually after noticing the thumbnail , I think thoose pots wil be fine.

ya think so ?? you don't think it'll turn any roots green?? they were the only pots they had in.. it kinda pisses me off .. they keep switching their stock around. so the pots i had planned on using they don't carry anymore. Hopefully my next trip, i'll get what i want. I could take em back but 5 bucks for 4 pots. It's not that big of a deal. just wanna make sure they're cool before i transplant anything
