Ok here is my scenario, this is my first grow, and I've done tons of reading and postponed my grow to make sure I'm ready. So before I give my question let me outline what you are dealing with, so you can best assess my situation.
Growing an autoflowering strain in DWC, using hydroton, and rockwool. I have two airpumps to act as a failsafe for one another. I have a standard grow and bloom micro nutrient for them. They came with my purchase of hydroton and rockwool from stealthhydro.com
My problem arose in the form of "hard water". I checked my ph with a digital meter and strips, both coming to 7.5. The PPM on my TDS was 200/250. (250 being after I ph balanced)
So not knowing what amounts of dissolved solids were in my water, I didn't want to trial and error it, so I am using my ZeroWater filter, which if you don't know uses a 5 stage deionization filter, and when water passes filter it ends up with a 000 TDS reading. So it removes my "hard water" problem, however creates a new problem. My water is bland for lack of a better description. It has no natural "yummies" for my baby girls.
So, without further ado, my question is: What do/How much to feed them, now that the water is lacking all needed "yummies".
Not sure what the micro nutrients NPK ratio are or if that's even what is inside them. They just say Bloom*High Feed Formula* and the other Grow*HFF*
I've read Epsom salts would give a lot of the needed minerals my girls crave. Keep in mind I'm running a 6 gallon res, in a dwc setup. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Horton~
