I found a seed yesterday in a bag of medical grade Afgoo. I was wondering if the seed was most likely to be pure Afgoo or if it was probably a cross since females don't make seeds without being pollinated? Thanks.

its hit or miss with bag seeds...imo

Yeah, the seed was kind of small but it was dark with stripes. I am germinating it right now. Do you think if it does germinate the genetics would be pure afgoo still or most likely a cross (from getting pollinated)

like i said, there really isn't any way to really know for sure till it has buds...i would give it a go though...

Thanks a lot Cali. It still dosen't have a tail growing.. How long could it take for a seed to crack? Its prob. a dud..

It shouldnt take a week or so tho...

Usually 24-72 hours. I mean if its your only one mine as well continue to germinate longer.

Most likely will be a cross of afgoo and whatever. Probably loose pollen floating around caught one of the buds. Should still make for a good plant tho, hopefully she germinate = )

Yea, could be self pollinated, or it could be a male of the same strain that wasn't removed early enough, in which case it would be "pure" afgoo. Or it could be some scwagg weed that was around. Either way, have fun and hope it's a female.

Thanks guys, I will let you know if it sprouts. If it does I will prob turn this into a grow journal..
