I fucked up making hash oil- is my trim good for another run???

I had about 20g of trim I pulled off a plant and let dry for two days, and decided I would try a new method (to me) of making oil, recommended by a friend. Basically you just put the trim in a mason jar, and spray the butane directly into the top, shake it around a bit, and then put a coffee filter or whatever on the top and let the tane run out like normal. I did this, and I think it didn't work well because the butane didn't sit in the trim long enough, and as well I was unable to squeeze the remaining butane out of the trim like a honey bee extractor. I only ended up getting <5 dabs out of it. I dried the trim out again and it's in my freezer, it should still be fairly potent right?

If you didn't get it the first time, it should still be there. We expect about 10/12% return on trim.

We sometimes use a similar technique, but with a pre-frozen thermos, so that the butane stays liquid long enough to pour it out of the container.

As it will take less than $3 worth of butane to find out whats left, I would definitely give it a shot?

I don't think so, but Why not try again, perhaps the butane didn't knock the tric's through...

ive done something like this before and it seems that the butane just melts the trics and it sticks to the plant matter. give it another run and I bet you get a little more out of it.
