Find an organic potting soil with trace minerals and good additives such peat, perlite, vermiculite, etc. Currently I'm using a potting soil mixed approximately 15% perlite, 10% compost, 5% humus, and 25% peat moss and I've had great results, real vigorous growth. I'll be looking to up my perlite percentage to around 40% for better aeration and hopefully I'll see good results. Try a couple things and you'll come to a soil mixture that works for you. In case you want it, here's my ideal soil mix in easy to read form:

- Organic Potting Soil w/ trace nutrients
- 40% Perlite
- 10% Peat Moss
- 5% Compost
- 5% Humus or Organic Molasses Substitute
- 2% Bat Guano
- 2% Fish Kelp Oil

Enjoy, happy growing
