Why is 3 the number you must meet? If I was you I would be shooting for 2 and hopping for 3. I think you are asking way too much for a first indoor grow with 2000w. I just dont understand!!! Heat will definately be a problem. The heat produced by the two lights will be extreamly hard to remove with an exghaust system like yours. Cool tubes are the best way to go for what you are working with. You dont need to vent your lights through a scrubber if you lights have are sealed from the grow room. I sugest you read more of the FAQs and maybe even a few grow journals. I think then you will have a better idea of what I am talking about. 3lbows on the first indoor grow is reaching for the stars. I am not saying it can not be done but it take a lot of experience or luck to reach this mark with 2k watts in soil.

it can be done, just do research and make sure the environment is suitable for maximum growth and lowest stress. 2000w its too much though in my opinion. 2 600w's will do just fine

i have done thart size area with 2-600,s and 2-1000,s the 1000,s were not over kill they prduced 1 1/2 pounds per light, the 600,s did not do that, but it is still good 2 600,s,that is what i prefer, but they dont equal the yield of the 1000,s.

It has been long established that I'm using cool tubes, how is it going to be hard to keep the room cool, I'm having 2 exhausts 1 for the lights and another seperate one for the room both will obviously have carbon scrubbers. I've read the faq and plenty of grow journals on here, but thanks anyway:peace:

i have a 9x6 room with 2 600s and 4 plants right now. they are pretty big tho, i had some seed troubles thats why i only came out with 4 this grow. anyways i use a 290cfm can fan to vent my lights, and an insulated duct from the a/c vent going into the grow area. my temps stay around 70-75. just get a badass can fan to vent your lights.and vent that hot air somewhere else. you probably wont get 3 bows from 2000 watts your first grow. everything has to be perfect to reach that benchmark. u might get 2+ pounds. but like has been said shoot for a realistic number, hope for a heavier number. only skill and experience can get you really heavy harvests.

This is the 2nd indoor I've done. let me tell you all about how my first indoor grow went. I had a 70w hps, 6x26w cfl's, and 4x 32 watt 48in floro tubes. Only 354 watts/ 28,000 lumens. With around 8 sq.ft of grow area(3500 lumens/ft) and 5 sisters. My harvest was a tad over 5 1/2oz's so over an O per plant. So basically 5180 lumens got me an ounce. Well with 2x1000w hps I'll have around 260,000 lumens atleast.

260,000/5180= 50.2oz's. 50/16=3 1/8 lbs. That is why I'm shooting for 3 lbs kush cuz if I get less it means I was less efficiant.
My new room will have an average of 8125 lumens/ft. my last had 3500L/ft. and got me 1.1oz per plant I think that 8125 lumens/ft. should atleast get me 1.5 oz's per foot.

And the pic is how I like to do it outside:blsmoke:
