I have to say i agree that this is a slight rip off....
but also how many plants or sq metres are you thinking of growing?? I assume ur planning of a SoG?? if so and your thinking of 8 or about plants then i would reccomend at least 600 watts of lighting.
If you go for one light then I would get a 600 watt hps (for price reasons in preferance of a 1000 watt bulb) which will mean you may spend slightly longer on veg but the flower stage will be good especially for yield...
If on the other hand you go for 2 lights i would get 2 400 watt hps's for reasons stated above..
all the other stuff in the kit can be bought for the same price if the package were broken up elsewhere and you wouldnt have to dish out for the things in the kit that you dont want or need...
