I need tips on pruning during flowering

I have been flowering for three weeks now. I used the lst method and have a very bushy plant with a wide canopy. Every few days I clip two of the tiny leaves at the bottom of the plant that don't get any light. Is this okay and if so how much longer can I prune. There are only a few more that are small and don't get any light.

I understand from reading that only a little at a time like your doing. But I leave a few leaves at the bottom in case there is a deficiency or lockout I'll be able to spot it. I just cut 2 thick branches off since they were stuck too far under the main tops. It was causing more harm so it qualified.
Try not to cut off if you can though.

I'm new at this so any advice would be nice.
