I planted these plants around the 4th of July when will they be done ?

When they will be done depends on the natural light schedules where you live, AND the genetics of the strain. Without that info, the best guess I have is the middle of October, to the end of November... Again, all depends on genetics, and when they start flowering.

To get the most out of them: As a new grower, you want simple. Go online and look up Earth Juice Rainbow "pro grow" and "pro bloom" ... order yourself a 5 pound bag of each. Top feed the pro grow until they start to bud, then switch over to top feeding the pro bloom. Based on the size there, I would top feed about 4 tablespoons of the pro grow once a week till flower, then stop the pro grow and switch over to the pro bloom in the same amount.

Hey sorry , this is western New York. Strain is mint stash. Planted july 4th. Late but still grew bushy. I planted right in ground with fox farm soil. Let me know what you think brother

I think you are off to a great start. Planting them in the amended fox farm was a good idea. Only thing is, even if you used ocean forest (hottest soil they make) it only has enough nutrients for about one month. Start top feeding those ladies with the Earth Juice I recommended above. The Earth Juice product I mentioned are literally the best/easiest for a beginning... ya cant burn the plants with it basically.

I am not familiar with Mint Stash, but you can figure 70-90 days after you start seeing it flower, that is when it will be done.

There is a lot of reading to do about clear v milky v amber trichomes, and when to harvest.

July 4 - Why plant so late?

I sprout indoors in first week of May
From second week of May I put the seedlings outside to get used to the sun
- but I do this only an warmish days
Last week of May they were outdoors all the time.

I am in sourthen Ontario and my harvests are late October

Are your leaves yellow and spotty or is that just bad lighting?
Investigate the coloring. There might be a problem.

Late?
I put mine outside Canada day so they don't grow into monsters. Nothing like a big steal me flag poking above your fence.
I'll still get a half p or more per plant.
I'm not interested in shaded out larfy buds. It's all about training. If you can't get a couple p's out of 4 plants starting in July you should re evaluate what you're doing.
Blueberry muffins Jordan of the islands and Tropicana cookies x animal cookies ripper seeds left to right

Good point.
Two of my girls are 8 feet tall. Fortunately no smell
Ya to each their own. I'm not telling anyone what they should do in their own circumstance but for me I don't even need it it's more for fun and I do like a nice sun grown bud once in a while. I'm also in s ont and yes harvesting around halloween is usually the goal weather dependent. I'm gonna shade mine out starting this weekend so they start flowering or else they will be at half mast. Lol
The smell is comming.
I purposely choose strains that dont smell like weed per say. Except the blueberry muffin. She reaks

that is funny, I train my large outdoor plants too, and my buddies make fun of me saying "you could get more yield just letting it go natural." I have the same outlook as you, I want as many tops as I can get.

No yield from a natural plant has ever out produced a well trained cannabis plant. 30-40 main tops that out weight what they woulda been by 3-1. That’s a fact man I’ll take 30-40 tops over 1 top anyday

I totally agree. This is a GG4 plant in a 45 gallon pot (I should have used a 100gal, I know), and I think there has to be north of 50 tops on this thing. Its at least six feet wide x six feet deep x six feet tall lol. I've been training this one since day one. There is a huge support structure inside of there that isn't visible in the pictures.

I'll never just let a plant 'grow natural' it's a waste imo. Unless your running rockets in a sog. There's alot of reasons to train a plant. I see so many guys growing 10 ft plants like that's some kind of feat or something. I'll yeild better % quality buds imo. They'll be trimming larf for days. What's the point of growing a 3lb plant if only 1lb is worth smoking? Pointless imo. Just focus on that 1lb instead and make it 1.5lbs of good weed.
Not to mention those big fat buds on top love to rot. Been there.

Hahaha. Yes they fucking do. Large dense colas are always more prone for it. Those super crowns IMO are a cool sight for sore eyes. Who doesn’t like a 3/4 oz bud But I’ll take the 1/4 oz rocks all over instead anyday.

that is a very good point, and I appreciate that feedback. I ended up doing all the training because it was what I saw on youtube, and online... but it was mostly relevant to indoor grows. I still wanted to do it outdoors. I am excited for the end of the season, to see how it goes.

Good point about bud rot, I did not know that.
