I said "I'm new to this..", not "I knew this.."

yea, I just discovered bending through this very website, had never heard of it before,, and I dont know... it seems kinda risky for an amateur
Nah matey. Theory's a little like felling a tree in the fact that you gently but firmly (ya not gonna snap her)squeeze the stem in roughly the direction you want the bend and of course the height to take into account as well. And just gently ease the branch over. She should go easily after a good squeeze if she doesn't and it feels like your forcing, squeeze a touch more. If ya unsure. Just keep undersqueezeing untill you hit that sweet spot. But you will feel her stem crush together under your fingers. Dont freak. But the sweet spot Is fairly easy to find and really effective way of reducing height plus opening up lower growth a touch more. The bends themselves will probably end up being the strongest part of the part plant. They harden and turn into proper elbows. Pick a random stem. Not a main one. And just give it a go. But once you nail it. You'll do it every opportunity. Good luck

Much respect going into this with a just looking to learn mentality. You'll face some obstacles but you'll catch on quick and know how to upgrade your equipment accordingly. Plants look good mah man.

Smell is nothing right now. They will get a much, much... much more potent smell. If smell is a concern, you'll want to be proactive with this rather than reactive since you're in an apartment IMO.

Judging by the width of leaves, looks like you got an indica. Instead of me rambling further, just let us know how we can help.
Lol, thanks bro, will do

this method is a must once my green thumb proves itself,, especially if it yields more buds,, I have four plants left and I dont believe they have shown gender yet, but then again I have an untrained eye,, if another male shows up, maybe he'll be a guinea pig,

A little bit stemmy, looks like an indica/sativa hybrid.

Not too bad for a ghetto grow
They look healthy-ish. Something's funky with the one leaf.

Your plants will outgrow that box really fast. I'd suggest getting a tent asap.

Why not run a tent ?
well first and foremost, I'm not up on grower lingo, but if you're talking about what I've read up on so much, I live in a one bedroom apartment, there's not much space here, second, Ima low budget first timer,, I built a grow house out of cardboard, aluminum foil and tape,, my grow lights cost about 34 bucks, I'm trying to get to that point tho!!

thanks bro,, I thought about growth height a couple of months ago, so I started flowering when they got about 24 inches high, my grow house is about 48 inches, so the thought process was to start flowering and I would have room to grow even when budding,, it's still a work in progress..

My first grow was inside an aquarium on its side. My second was in a homemade grow box then came a closet for a bunch of grows, then outdoors and now I have a tent.

The best advice I could give you is start yourself a change jar specifically dedicated to setting up a grow tent.

For around 500 bucks (saved over time) you can set yourself up for years to come.

My current grow still needs another air cooled hood for my second light but otherwise I'm fairly set up.

A future shopping list for you can include;

  • 1x Grow tent (comes in different sizes)
  • 1x light (LED/HID usually comes with hangers)
  • Ducting (silvery and flexible)
  • Inline fan (the bigger the fan, the more airflow)
  • Amended Soil/Hydroponic Setup
  • Nutrients
  • Zip ties (handy for everything)
  • Carbon Filter (a good one eliminates smell)
It would also help to learn about defoliation, lollipopping, LST, Supercropping, topping (F.I.M-ing aka Fuck I Missed), ScroG-ing and other yield increasing techniques.

Anyone can grow cannabis, it's a weed and will grow almost anywhere. The trick is growing great cannabis.
