I want to move a dirt clone into hydro

I just picked up several new clones and they are in party cups filled with sunshine mix. I want to rinse the medium off and transfer them to a DWC cloner machine to get the roots big and then move them to my RDWC system. Can I do this? What are your recommendations? They have only been rooted for 3 days.

yea, just look up how to do it on youtube, you basically just rinse the medium off

I've done it, even with a large tomato and pepper plant. For the real small plants (small root system) I used perilite in my net pot till the roots were nice and established. I've tried just adding small plants directly to hydroton off the bat and have killed a few. Perhaps the balls were too heavy, bad coverage etc, not sure.

Use a 5-gallon bucket half-filled with warm water. Gently swish the roots in the water until the dirt has washed away. Works 4 me, BigSteve.
