011.jpg012.jpg013.jpg014.jpgas long as you have roots i wouldnt worry too much. good roots are key in dwc. i am doing a variety grow at the moment with some mango, hash plant, jilly bean, iss, gdp and they are all growing so differently. i will include a couple pics for you. one is my gdp which is still super short but healthy and has good roots, nd ill show you my jilly bean, who loves dwc, and ill sbow ou her roots, much much smaller. so my advice is as long as them have roots just encourage their growth. if your plants aren't grawing too fast, check for light leaks into rez, water temp, ppm, and ph. for young plants should be 300 ppm 5.8 ph, 68 f h20 temp, and NO light into the res. after that you plants will guide you, they will let you know if they are getting too many nutes, not enough o2, too much light, ect. but with strong roots a strong plant will grow. patience really is a virtue here. maybe try microbebrew or rizhotinic or other rot stimulaters if you arent patient or are really worried about lack of growth. good luck and keep us updated!

thanx other, yea your right i get to impatient when it comes to growing, its my first time in dwc and i think fear of the unknown is a big part of it,i did dip em in micro brew ff bush doctor and it really straighten em out,i was just reading about mycorrhize and what it does,i dont know if you have ever tried it but,it forms a slimy film covering your root system,it looks diabolical but is actually what saves the root system,i was worried about the slime so i took a couple of clones out and dipped them in h2o2 and the roots that were inside where just beutiful the plants though they are small in stature are growing,i have 2 clone bubblers with 12 in each and 6 in aero garden the aero is amazing at puttin out roots anyway thanx again for the advice

never have tried mycorrhize maybe i'll look into it. after all especially in dwc healthy roots are everything. also if you are worried about browning roots (root rot) or other such things watch your rez temps. you really dont want your temps over 68 or 69 degrees as it will breed pythium and can just get nasty. h202 works great for cleaning up your roots. im never patient either, my current bathc i just planted last saturday and i get frustrated that they are like 2 feet tall already, but it really is a waiting game. have fun with it, try not to worry too much and let them do their thing.
