I woould lay low and not advertise the fact that you have access to cash. Do not dress like some asshole American with the white tennis shoes & all. The coffeeshops are a great place to meet some good folks. Talk to the guys or girls behind the counters, they are cool. Tye & learn a little Dutch to blend in. Don';t tell anybody evrything about yourself. I was there two yrs. ago and it was great! However, there are ALOT of pick-pockets and others trying to hustle somebody/everybody. Keep your passport and other valuables hidden from sight. Even your money. Keep it in your front pocket. You will make friends, just hopefully the right kind. Best of luck, I am a bit jealous!!

the dutch are sound there are always dodgy feckers where ever u go.
the ones u gotta watch out for are eastern europeans alot of them are dodgy and
blatant with it.
stick with nationalities your familiar with and remember nothings free.
