I'm really concerned about burning my girls so I have a couple questions. Currently im using miracle grow water soluble all purpose plant food. I've only watered them once so far using half the nutes it says to use. But it says I should use the nutes once every two weeks. Should I follow those guidelines or do I feed the plant nutes everytime I water them? Any help would be nice thanks!

20-20-20 is a good general purpose nutrient. You didn't mention what soil you're using or the age of your plants.

If you're using Happy Frog or Ocean Forest, you don't have to give nutes until 4-5 weeks into the grow. If you're using Miracle Grow potting soil, hide the nutrients until your plants are into 12/12.

You'll get a bunch of people on here poo-pooing your MG nutrients.....don't be swayed by them.

I prefer Jack's Classic general nutrients which is also 20-20-20 and I give 1/2 tspn per gallon every day. I don't know the correct dosage for MG though. Click on any of my signature links as they were all grown with Jack's nutrients.

I had to take over someone's grow so I'm not positive. I transplanted them almost a week ago into organic soil that I bought locally. I live in a small town so it was the only soil I could get and they needed to get into soil bad. They have around 5 to 10 sets of leaves that are pretty small to medium size. I'm not sure if any of that helps but it's all I really know right now

I would personally only do it once a week.
I usually start feeding between the 5th and 6th node. That's generally when the cotyledons shrivel up and die for me. I start with feeding @ 1/4 strength and work my way up from there. I've never used the 20-20-20 stuff though. I've used the 24-8-16 all purpose throughout a veg cycle and it did fine. Just had to be careful because I got a little over zealous and ended up burning a weaker girl when I ramped it up too fast. Then switched over to the 18-18-21 tomato formula when they switched over to flowering. At that point they were handling a gallon of full strength 24-8-16 a week each and didn't skip a beat when I switched em over to the 18-18-21. These were in 7 gallon pots under the sun.
Also pulled a grow using nothing but the tomato feed with no problems whatsoever from start to finish in 5 gallon buckets. Same feeding schedule and amount. Turned out to be some excellent smoke in the end.
Also tried out a buddies stuff who used nothing but the 24-8-16 stuff through his entire grow and it turned out totally decent. Helped him harvest/trim and got a QP for my troubles. Nugs weren't as big as mine (they were clones from my girls) but they cured up and smoked great
So just keep doing what you're doing. Just ramp it up slow if you decide to. Watch out for Nitrogen Toxicity and that dark green color. Slack off if that starts to happen.

Feed with every other watering. Or follow the schedule as directed by your nutrient calendar. Next time, ditch the miracle grow. Shit is gnarly badbad.
