Sanders won Vermont's election for Senator in 2018 by a landslide and his term isn't due to end until 2024. He's not going anywhere soon. Agree that his relationship with Putin is troubling. That said, the real problems in Congress are Republicans, not the so-called Progressive left.

The Progressive left is an important wing of the Democratic Party. By the latter part of the next decade, they will BE the Democratic Party. Also by then, Bernie will have retired to his five or six homes with a multimillion dollar estate (He says he made his bones selling books (snicker)). He's not the problem. Republicans are. People like tty are annoying but they aren't the main problem either. More like a squeaky wheel crying for attention.
