Install Trellis or not???

I'm currently planning to defoliate a little in the next few days. If I throw up a trellis/scrog should I defoliate before or after its up?

Regarding the trellis, my main concern is access for watering or basically if I have to do anything else within the tent and the scrog is up it's going to be a real PITA - Tent is 9' and requires ladder for any adjustments outside of raising light.

Now - why I want to put up the trellis is the plants who look to be stretching a lot. I'm very nervous they will grow taller than the initial tent opening, making dealing with it a nightmare?

This is 1st grow so any help much appreciated.

1 inhouse genetics - bubba/gsc/purplehulk
2 inhouse genetics - Plat. Garlic x Plat. KM(1 tall)

They tallest plants have only stretched about 7-8", at 38" started flower at ~31"(from bottom of pot) - maybe I was expecting more stretch than this?

Someone on IG said they had a couple stretch 200%
