inteligent watering system

finally took the plunge and gone hydro after growing in soil for 2 years and purchsed a iws flood and drain system. just wanted to know if anyone else has one of these and what they think of them and how many times to water in 18 hour veg. i am growing in clay pebbles and started out with cuttings.

With clay pebbles you need to flood often, like every 2 hours. I do not use them but the rule is to keep your medium wet not over saturated and let it get plenty of air. With the clay it will never saturate so flood often.

3 to 4 times a day for 15 mins. What size is your tray?
