is 4 months long enough?

well ive got 12 small plants growing now just from bagseed, but i was looking at this seed package: Mixed Premium Marijuana Seeds

and was wondering how long i should expect from start to finish. im off at college now but will have to move back home by the end of may at the latest and will be starting over next semester with premium seeds. given this timetable should i go for it or just wait. cause no matter what im gonna have to get rid of them all in 4 months whether theyre fully matured or not. anybody whose grown something like this have an opinion?

yeh if you veg for 4-6 weeks then 4 months should be long enough!id play it safe and veg for 4 weeks coz sometimes flowering can take a little longer than it sais plus you have to add curing time.

are they gonna be big enough to veg in just 4 weeks though? curing time wont be a problem, i can find somewhere to do that, but i cant have like 20 plants still flowering when i go home lol.

EDIT: what will be the result if i have to cut them a week or two before theyre done flowering?

yeh they'll be a descent size in a month if grown properly,plus they will double,triple or quadruple in height too,but i suppose you could veg for a extra week or 2 but that will make things tight on time,i mean 6 + 11 weeks= 17 weeks which is more or less 4 months,yeh some will be ready a few weeks or so before then but they should all be ready on the 11th or 12th week of flowering.

Slow5.0 you've got plenty of time man. Some people complete their veg, flower, harvest & cure time in 2 - 2 1/2 months. If you really want to make sure you have enough time, you can even cut your veg period down to less than 4 weeks. The last few grows I was involved in, I used 12/12 lighting from the very beginning. Of course, don't expect as high of a yield. But don't worry man work out 3-4 weeks for veg and then probably between 8 and 10 weeks flowering for the seeds you bought.

Hey man 4 months is more than enough time from seed to smoke.. ( thats if everything you do is correct and plants like it )

Yes you can grow smokable bud in 4 months but do have expectations more than your capabilities can produce. A couple of ounces is a lot to grow in four months for a newb. Good luck and keep us posted
