So I've got a light socket outside but no outlet. I figure I've got two options.
1) Replace the fixture with an electrical outlet
2) Use a screw in light socket to AC outlet adapter - then plug a 2prong to 3 prong adapter into that
(you can see what I mean here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-prong-plug-3-prong-outlet-screw-light-bulb-socket-outlet-adapter-/120815537940?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item61cd18db18 )
Obviously the second is easiest.
However I'm wondering if either of these options is doable if I were to be say running a 400w MH through the outlet.
I don't know anything about electricity and any input would be greatly appreciated
