is distilled water good for soil plants?

is it good to water marijuana in soil with distilled water? if not wats the best king of water becuase some of my plants leaves are starting to be droopy upside down canoe shapes and im thinking its cus of the water. ventillation isnt great but its not bad i have two oscillating fans in a grow box. humidity around 60 % right now plants in flower and temps are at 65-75 F. im trying to lower humidity to 40 % atm. heres some pics. also you may see some powdery mildew on one pic im trying to get rid of that using serenade. its a pain in the ass

I've used both distilled and Natural Spring water recently and I had canoe shapes with the distilled also. All the grows turned out awesome so I dont think it mattered.

Distilled water is fine. Just watch out for Calcium, Magnesium, and Iron deficiencies.

Yup, you might want to pick up some Cal-mag Plus if that happens.

I use Cal-Mag + with all my grows and recommend it as well

Yeah I use R/O water myself and I have to use cal-mag plus. It's a must if you are doing distilled or R/O.

I'm using Distilled water to,,,I have a quart of Bonticare Cal-Mag plus 2-0-0., I did not use it last time, I'm growing in Fox Farms Ocean forest and there only like 2 weeks old,,,Do I need it will it hurt or Help???? Sorry for Hijaking thread.

It won't hurt to use it anyways. If signs of deficiency aren't present use it at only 1/4 to 1/2 strength. I use it with every grow.

it takes about 4 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of distilled,i thought growers loved the enviroment lol.

your plant looks good man. have you been checking the ph of the soil?

no but i have been checkin gthe ph of the water / nutrients mix that i put in it and its always 6.5 or 7. plant is fine except for this powdery milldew

so if i keep using distilled water or even get r/o water i should get cal-mag plus? how much of that do i need to use with water/nutes. and will it cause over nute?

honestly you dont need distilled,its a waste of water,if you have bad tap or well water use ro.

i never used cal mag with my ro,most nutes have more then enough in them.
