is h2o2 better than hydrogaurd for warm reservoir?

past few days have been getting hot and my dwc/f&d reservoirs are hitting 75-77. I've been using hydro guard but would h2o2 make things more sterile to prevent rootrot?

H2o2 will neutralize all life in the system. It's broken down to o2 in a day or two and needs re introducing.
HydroGuard is like 95%+ water. Southern AG is the active component in HydroGuard in a 95%+ concentration. This is what you should use. It's added in small amounts to water then added to res.

These two things are very different from each other. @fragileassassin or @Rocket Soul can give more info on it because I've only used h2o2.

People are going to tell you to throw hydroguard away and use southern AG. Same thing but 1000% more concentrated. Personally I was not able to keep a sterile res with hydroguard and started using h202. But that is expensive and am now using pool shock.

I don't have rot yet just trying to prevent it the best I can lol. Ill continue with the hydrogaurd and hopefully not get anything. using gh flora nutes too so hopefully that helps

Those temps shouldnt be an issue while using hydroguard unless theres already another issue somewhere. Dont want it much higher at all though.
Definitely dont throw the HG away, that shits expensive! If you do encounter issues use a higher dose.
Use it until its gone and then check out the southern ag if youre in NA. Same shit but better and considerably cheaper.
Anyone that cant get southern ag to work has a major flaw somewhere in their system imo.

I just bought a gallon of hydrogaurd for $65. should last for the summer. Temps will go down tho. Just had a heat wave of 95f past few days

Southern AG has worked better for me than Hydrogaurd or H2O2. Plus it’s dirt cheap & easy to use.
Here are my roots currently at 7 weeks old.

When I was running ORCA my first grow, my res got up to high 70's and no problems. Pre-Chiller days.
ORCA has Trichoderma in it as well as BA like hydroguard. I really think Trichoderma fungi are the real "powerhouses" as far as combating pathogens go.
