is it ok to rinse the jiffy off a clone

Hi guys I bought clones and they came in jiffy discs, (not my choice) is it ok to rinse the jiffy off the clone and stick the clone into my hydrotone ? I hate jiffy it dirties everything, but I don't want to kill the clones either , i tried one and the jiffy came off nicely, but I,m not sure if it damages or traumitises the clone at all.

be very careful and try not to break the roots and it should be ok.

when I did the one clone it totally rinsed off without any problem so I guess I,ll give it a shot

Let us know how this goes. I have 8 plants in a jiffy system. I would like to move away from it and start using my flow system, the way it should be used. Too far in now, to turn back.

well as far as rinsing the jiffy off its really shit easy without even any effort the jiffy rinses out so considering I have 65 of them to do lets hope no unknown trauma is dicovered later...lol

well for a final update, rinsing off the jiffy is a no brainer, the plants have litlle to no trauma from this whatsoever and this is 1 month in ,

"so if ur stuck with jiffy on your roots,,kick it off like shit on your boots!!!!
