Is Lecithin Necessary for Canna Caps?

The title say it all.
I have made canna caps both ways and didn't find any difference in potency.
I understand why it's used in gummies and candies, and such........but fail to see the need for infused coconut oil caps.
I appreciate any input from others.

I've come to the same conclusion. It act more like an emulsifier. Daily dose of choline(phosphatidylcholine) in lecithin is not a bad thing though!

It helps with creating acetylcholine. That helps your nerve impulses. It is also an emulsifier in processed food.

this; "Lecithin plays a part in increasing the bioavailability of THC in the body by increasing the potency of the infusion. " whether bro science or science science is why I started and still include it in any canna oil I make.

for sure, that's why I gave the disclaimer about possibly being bro science, googling I can find other info also making this claim but sources are up to each to decide if they are reliable.

"Lecithin may help make your high that much more effective. Lecithin is a phospholipid, and phospholipids help increase the bioavailability of cannabinoids. This also means that it helps your body absorb the T-C that much better, which may make the effects feel stronger."

"More importantly, lecithin improves bioavailability which is the degree and rate that the body can absorb and process the cannabinoids. You receive more medicinal benefits from the cannabinoids without increasing the amount of cannabis you use. Lecithin minimizes the long-acting effect edibles have by allowing a faster absorption. More THC will be metabolized by the body, making the psychotropic effects more intense. If you are interested in a more prolonged and gradual experience, do not use lecithin."
