Is this a Silly Idea?

Sorry for the noob question, but I am starting my first grow, as in a started the process of germination this morning of 3 photo period gals.

My setup is a 4 by 4 by 6ft vivosun with a SF4k. I have 2 6 inch fans for air circulation, and when I get my next paycheck, an AC Infinity 6 inch cloudline lite.
I was thinking of starting with 3 5-gallon fabric pots, but was curious if it would be over ambitious to throw a smaller auto in a 3 gallon pot to eek out a little more yield. I was thinking that if space did become a problem, with about 80 days before i can expect a frost I could just move it outdoors, if needed.

As well, if you have any stubby, quick autos, I am happy to take the suggestions.

TIA

I would skip on running autos and photos in the same space. A 4x4 is more then enough space for 3 photos unless you plan on vegging for several months. For your first grow keep it simple, learn your enviourment and equipment, dont try and reinvent the wheel til you have first hand exeperiance of how things go

If you think the stretch from the auto will not affect the height of lamp or the power of the lamp is worth the money to shine on 1 plant full power and rest less then do it

And if the auto doesnt create shadow spots for the rest after it streches
