Is this grow box okay? NEED HELP!

Hey so i got my first plant growing bout a week old and i have in under a recycle bin upside down with a light coming in from the top. Is this going to be too hot for the plant? the light is on 20/4 cycle and no fan. do i need to have a fan blowing to keep the temp down?? please help. thanks
 
It would help if you'd tell us what light are you using.

Also if you have any pics, that would be great...

sorry no pics but im using just a regular light bulb form a lamp. i think its 150 wat
 
cfl light will be fine I think. They are not that expensive, they produce much light and very little heat. I think they're good for veg.

A fan would be good not only for the heat, but for the air circulation and the strengthen of the stem as well.
 
i think it will be ok for another week..but you are going to need better lights...i would not say you need to mess with a fan this instant..but if you dont want your plant to wilt and die in the next 2 - 3 weeks you need better lights...what medium are you using? what container?
