I also just wanted to say I always giggle at that "professional use alcohol". LIke, "stand back ya'll, I can handle this jug. Im a PROFESSIONAL!"

Just curious, have you ever considered pressing rosin and then using that to make your caps?

Cool process. I do basically the same thing. Even have the same capsule maker. Actually I have two; one for wet and one for dry (I also make capsules of dry herbs, not cannabis).

One difference for me is using 151 proof potato vodka OR EOX ethanol 100% that I order on Amazon (for now...it's probably illegal). I prefer non-denatured alcohol. The bigger difference for me is that I skip the bud-baking decarb. The THCA to THC conversion occurs as the solvent is distilled away. (I have not yet read that statement from a highly vetted source, such as from a chemist or scientific text; I do use the product, though, and the bud doesn't need to be baked to accomplish decarb, in my opinion and experience.) I also sometimes use MCT oil instead of coconut oil; it can be infused with more THC than coconut oil, per unit of volume. Downside is that MCT is liquid at room temperature and that capsule maker isn't really built for liquids...this can get messy.

Not saying this is the best way or the only way. Just an easy guide for those looking to try it.

Decarb cut up cannabis at 115c for 30 to 40 mins in the oven, giving it a mix around every 10 mins to start. I used an ounce, 95% bud. After its been in the oven you can crumble it a bit more with your fingers.
Ventilation during the process and NO naked flames is a must.

30 secs to a min is all it needs, I agitate softly with a fork.

Run the same batch of cannabis through again with fresh Iso

Pot is sitting on slowly simmering water.

Make sure the bubbling has stopped. Any bubbling means alcohol is still present. I added 2 capfuls of coconut oil to help keep the mix more consistent whilst filling caps after the bubbling had stopped. (not shown)

Edit: I used an eye dropper to fill caps with. The syringe pictured was to big to use without mess. The eye dropper was still not ideal.
Isopropyl is pretty harsh chemical to use when extracting.... ever consider applying the Canadian method (Benzine)?

hey, how’s your friend that you used to make these caps for doing ? I really hope it helped :(

were you doing a CBD, THC dominant or like a one to one ? And what strains did you find gave the best results ?Ie pain management and better quality of life.

if High THC when was the preferred time for him/ her to take the caps as well as rough mg dosage (if any idea) per cap ?

If anyone knows Anything about any pain from auto immune management would help a lot or any idea for making salves for skin cancer (I’m just assuming would be the best ?)

They are both dead now but they both benefited from them greatly.

It was a 1 to 1.
One took her cap at night to help mitigate the pain and sleep. The other took theirs in the morning and found they had more energy and were more social thoughout the day.
