Ive Got Some Rare Pre 98' Fire Og...What Is Its Lineage??

so i have been getting this super bomb Fire Og from a private grower in California. i do not know the heritage or history of this strain because he claims it is super rare and not in many circles. so i am seeing how true this really is. story goes he paid $1500 for a clone. i do not know what year though. i think that would be of great importance!

What I understand is Fire OG you could get from any medical dispensary. I may be wrong though so don't mind me.

if i had to guess, id say

98 Bubba Kush x Fire (Raskal) OG

I would say no one knows b/c no one really knows for sure the genetics of OG.
You hear it's probably this or probably that.

@ Beans Davis-Uhm, i do think they have narrowed it down. its from a certain region. i believe its the Ocean Grown variety. hence the name Ocean Grown Kush. OG Kush. its def narrowed down to a specific region from what i have read. BUT!!!! it could be crossed with something making it a hybrid for sure. i just want to know what its parent strains are and JC i think summed it up for the most part.

@ Herrekin - well, to me, not that much more at all. only $25 more an ounce and its still well under $300. but others are paying out the ass!! because yes, they may be a little more gullible. me, not so much! and Fire Og is the name of the strain... im no fool, fool!

Raskal obviously told the man it was rare shit and sold it for 1500$ for one clone.

Its probably bog standard, most people with truely rare genetics wouldn't sell even one clone, what would stop the person cloning the clone and making it far less rare?

Bought 6 Fire OG clones this last summer in a S.D Dispensary. Paid WELL under $1500 for all 6 about 1% at that cost each.

quite a few breeders who have made seeds/strains using these clone only strains, have claimed that many of the clones sold out in the wild
are not the real deal, but just copies
at the same time these same seed breeders claim their bx or whatever latest seedline is just as good as the real deal clone only strain
seems like one big world of bullshitters to me
as long as people want to believe in these holy grail strains people will pay much more than $1500 for cuttings, LOL

because it was a trusted deal between 2 good friends. and trust me he has never came off any of his shit. he runs Skywalker Og, Fire Og, and a King Louie. never ever has he sold one clone. ive been trying to get one for years!!! so, please come of the negativity.

NOPE!!! looks nothing like that, and FUCK $90 an eighth!!

and i have heard of a 10 pack of seeds going for more then that. if you want the really good genetics you can find them anywhere. i will get to the bottom of this shit!! i will post what ever findings i find and research i dig up. im going to have my buddy take me to the grower so i can get the truth on this shit. i dont believe everything i hear. so i dont think i have some holy grail. i have known this dude for more then half my life,m he has no reason to lie to me. and especially about fucking weed. maybe some communication got jumbled in the story being told through people. but i have never seen this strain in this state EVER!!! nobody ever gets it. EVER!! i have a rather large circle of friends. and try to keep up on what is going around. so there is a some truth to the story, and i will admit a tad bit of bullshit. but until i hear something from the breeder himself, i have a hard time believing everything on the net.

raskal payed 5 grand for a cut of the fire and did his crosses with it, your friend is takin from the story and sayin he payed a grip
