I have been noticing the name Jim Ortega alot
Any info/links on his Strains, an breeders who use his gear would be appreciated.
Seems like a very hard core old school breeder whos very underground.
Heres some stuff I learned.
-Jim Ortega
Grower and breeder of cannabis, responsible for the introduction of varieties Maple Leaf, Kush 4 Garlic Bud and through the exchange of seeds with Nevile Schoenmakers.
-Mr nice seeds-Maple Leaf, Kush 4 Garlic Bud. Nevel said he did more for MrNice breeding than sam the skunk man....
Sensi seeds -we know the Ortega's a MIGHTY breeding partner for Sensi, being used in Black Dom, First Lady, Marley's Collie and perhaps others....

-Legends Ultimate Indica
This combination of Breeder Steve’s Sweet Tooth (Spice of Life Seeds) and the infamous Ortega strain from California
-Dr greenthumbs -pure G13 is from Jim Ortega
-Subcool Used his Ortega/ Taco for breeding his Danny boy. Subcool also breeds with a G13 of unknown origin, Maybe its Ortegas?
-Dutch Passions sells Fem Ortega Indica." We consider Ortega Indica a medicinal cannabis variety. Ortega Indica is a hybrid of Northern Lights #1 and another strong Indica, both dating back to the late seventies."
Nice resume, I got to check out some of his stuff.

May be the same character also known as Maple Leaf Wilson, a member of the collective Sacred Seeds and one of the first growers Afghani varieties.

I'll tell you right now $67 a seed was well spent. One of the nicest lookin plants I have ever seen and Im a month out from 12/12
