ok so i posted my problem in the bug section but no one wanted to help, so im dealing with some spider mites, my pretty ladies are roughly about 5 days onto flowering, im thinking of using the tabaco tea, dont realy know how tho, can any one help me out? :wall::fire::finger::?:
 
5 days into flower, hit them hard with a 1-2 punch of something like neem/floramite and like a "Safer 3 in 1" Pyretherin/Sulfur spray...As long as you don't have buds formed, just spray the shit outta them one week apart, or better yet, you could look into getting a couple of these Hot Shots No Pest Strips, as long as your grow area isn't in an area of your house that people live in...Didn't you say no one lives at the house you grow at? Just get these for the first couple weeks of flower and they'll kill anything bad in your room...Just keep in mind, they release a slow stream of nerve toxin, so take 'em out when the buds start to form up or don't use them if you have people/pets living in the area...

 
well take you some tabcoo put it in a tea bag or strain later put it in really hot water not boiling but hot you should see the water turn dark add a few drops of dish soap ....let cool if you didnt use a tea bag strain through a coffe filter , works really well
 
There's also a product caled Mighty Wash, which Rawbudzski swears by, and I'm gonna try out soon...It's basically water(to some special frequency, everyone says, but I have no idea what that means...lol), but it's supposed to work well, and it's pretty much the only product on the market safe to use up to the day of harvest.
 
o god mighty wash lol, ya i actually read a thread were a comercial grower and him got into it,no offence to rawbud, but the comercial guy pretty much put him to shame..... lol, its 99% water so.... thats kinda a hint, and the pic you posted didnt show, and i have a male razors edge pit/johnsons american bull dog in the house along with a female american rotty in the house, so aint no one getting close to me gold lol, i dont know if you know anything about dogs but the pit i got in the house is all most a better than a hand gun, or high tech securty system.. hes about 10 months old and pushin 100 pounds, sorry for the long talk about my dogs, the two things i love to death, my dogs and my ladies...:twisted:
 
mighty wash that shit if it is not a huge crop... i used it on all my hops and they were bad that shit saved them but it is pricey
 
Well, if your dogs aren't in the room you're growing in, it could be ok...Especially since you're venting to that sealed closet, right? So keep the dogs in the livingroom or something and you should be good...It's your call, but I don't think it'll hurt them if you're venting to the sealed ONA room.

Yes, Avid is the only miticide that really truely works...lol...Too bad that shit's illegal in Cali, well, the hydro stores still carry it and you can get it on eBay, but yeah...Avid is the serious shit.

i get two vials of it for 20 dollars. i mix it in one gallon of water hit my plants right before i flower and the whole cycle there are no bugs. nothing worse than having to chop your plants a little early cause of mites
 
im brewing the tabacoo tea now, gonna give this a shot, any one have any thing i should know about this tea,? i threw the butts in the water a hint of dish soap leatting it brew up, runnin it thru a filter, should i dilute the water wen i put it inn my spray bottle?
 
Like smoked cigarette butts? I dunno, I wouldn't mess around with the tea, you wanna get these mites befre they get you, right? Just don't freak out bro, what's your budget? Get a tried and true product if possible.
 
trying to save some cash. i hear alot of people swear by the brew..... im just nervous about the whole thing man, you can belive that im going to be a bigger ckean freak now with the room, once i get rid of these fuckers...:wall:
 
Yeah, well don't fuck around with tea, and make sure you get rid of them for good, at least buy the Hot Shot No-Pest Strips, they'll do the trick, how big is your room?
 
Get something thats gonna work right and keep them from coming back, thats my advice...sounds like you have something riding on this, or you just trying to smoke for free?
