Just cut down auto northern lights what do u all think??

hi all, i just chopped down my auto northern lights from nirvana. this is my 1st grow and am looking forward to tasting my fruits!

i used biobizz veg bloom and boost with biobizz light mix soil (do not recomend) i had it on 18/6 light cycle becuase i was vegging a skunk 11 at the same time. i used a 300w blue cfl for the 1st couple of weeks until i seen preflowers and then swapped to a 2700k whilst in flower she had 62 days in flower i chopped slightly early about 10% of trichs were amber the rest were milky but the reason i done that is because i prefer a heady high to a couch lock. here are some images of the plant a week or so ago and some of the final work

Congrats on your first harvest. There is nothing like the feeling of smoking your quality home grown dank for the first time. It makes you realize how dumb the federal laws are. I mean its just a plant. You didn't even need to add baking soda or extract anything. How could it be a real drug. Looks tasty. Take it from me and fight the urge and cure those buds up good before you smoke too much. My first grow I had 8 plants (around 8oz) and I still burned through all those bitches so quick I only really got to taste full potential on my last 2 half zips.

nice, I've got the same strain going atm, 2-3 weeks into flower us know what the dry weight is like. was that 2 or 3 plants? and did you trim the fan leaves? mines way stockier and bushier looking. sorry for all the questions haha

Looks good. I love auto Nl from Nirvana. Pulled 4.37 oz. off one plant a few months back. Got another one going right now too. Enjoy it's good smoke.

thanks for the replies and +reps!!! yeah i feel like i achieved someting earlier on the day when i was chopping n trimming it, i cant wait to taste the real thing once its dried and cured! i just quick dried a little bit to smoke (thats all though im saving the rest till its cured) and i can feel it already

i have only had about 5 pull on the roll! and fslashthoat i just chopped 1 plant i got 1 togo the other is still about 3 weekks away even though i planted on the same day. i weighed it ealier and its reading just under 100g wet with stalks so im guessing i will be left with just under and ounce left after. and ATLHYDRO yeah some1 said that cfl grow produce softer bud but these are pretty dense im pleased with how the budd looks anyway lets just hope its a good smoke!

1 plant... that's an awesome yield on an auto ! did you trim the fan leaves? cant see any on your photos

i started taking some fan leaves about a week ago just to make the trimming easier. the plant was a little stretched becuse like i said earlier i was vegging another plant wich was quite alot bigger than the autos but next time im hoping to get tighter nodes and a bushier plant.

and hydro what lights nutes was u using to get such a big yeild off that auto??? come on share the secrets!! lol

i would imagine his 4.37oz will be wet weight so not much more than you got matey. i pulled all my fan leaves off as well, was casting shadows over the lower buds. check out my grow thread man see how mine compared to yours at the same time

thats the same thing im thinkin, not even an auot outside would yeild that much

buds been drying a day n half now but its lost its smell. is this normal or am i drying wrong? i have just hung it all up like i see the other ppl on here doing. i little bit of feed back if you all dont mind please

+rep nice looking plant! My first grow was 2 nl auto, from seedsman (but people say they are identical to nirvanas), beset with real newbie errors all the way through, which led to a very small yield but still got a fantastic bit of smoke out of them, you will enjoy your dry cured bud....if you have to patience to wait!

I only got an ounce and a half dry from the two (i know, i know... :roll:

lol) but the actual quality was spot on. The only problem, i never saw amber trichs, they just turned cloudy and stayed that way.

Don't mean to hijack your thread at all though mate, well done on a great job, enjoy the fruits of your labour

Yeah...mine smelled a little less when chopped, it came back to smell beautiful though, figured it was just the "freshness" coming out of them. Dark and cool, with as much bud surface in the air, can't go far wrong :peace:
