And it's pretty damn good , weird weird high though unlike anything else imo smoked it the late 2 nights but was on some percs to so I thought it was that messing with me but tonight was just bubba and I'd say it's pretty legit .

Do they look anything at all like the same strain, the same genetics? They're about as much the same as Jethro Bodine and Tony Soprano. So what does Arjan do? Gives another piece of crap Green House Seed fake-strain a famous name, even though Green House Seeds Bubba Kush is as far from being real Bubba Kush as I am from galactic central point, and people not only waste their money on it, but some will actually go so far as to proclaim it to be; "pretty legit."

So where do we get this supposedly (real) bubba kush? I'm starting to see that when you buy a pack of seeds phenos vary. I'm interested to know cause I bet if I bought a pack of real bubba the phenos would also vary with that trainwreck of crosses behind the bubba pre 98.
 
I have to agree GHS stuff is fake, although its not bad smoke. I enjoy super siver haze and there lemon skunk. The church is nice although im pretty sure its some sorta regurgitated skunk.

Green House Seeds is anything but; "awesome." It's line is largely made up of knockoffs of famous name strains, some that were created by Scott Blakey (AKA Shantibaba) and Nevil when Scott took on Arjan as a partner in GHS and Arjan took on Nevil as a partner in the Green House Seeds Coffee Shop, but those original genetics are long gone and inferior fakes replaced them, and most of the rest are just low grade genetics and a few are decent values for the dollar, but are mid-grade at best and a fair number of them have major hermie problems.

Arjan has told so many, well, let's just call them 'stories,' about the GHS line that he can't even keep his 'stories' straight.

That's not; "bashing" Green House Seeds. It's telling the truth about Green House Seeds.
 
If I were Bricktop what seed outfit would I go with? haha Seriously though I see you have the know how and exp. Point people in right direction for good genetics.:-P
 
Greenhouse do have some good genetics. That is not the issue. The issue is that Greenhouse will sell you something that it's not. Such as selling you "exodus cheese" when it is not in fact exodus cheese. They give their strains names of famous strains knowing that those name will appeal to someone. Any other marketplace it would be in violation of various trade description laws but unfortuantely people do not own patents to cannabis strains etc so certain groups use the opportunity to make some things up in order to get a bit more cash rolling in.

The issue isn;t that theOP had crap weed, but that it wasn't the weed it was marketed as. Imagine buying an expensive organic chicken, that was actually found to be a battery farm cchemically fed chicken. Even if it tastes great, i;d be annoyed, i paid for organic.

Some I haven't used in a handful of years, others I have used regularly. And before someone says, well if you haven't tried Green House Seeds than you really don't know. Well, I have tried them too, a handful of times. Not because I thought I would find anything great but now and then when I read a ton of messages about some strain I like to see if what people are saying is accurate, so I try them ... unless they are way indica .. I don't care much for that.

Most of the time the people that are in love with Green House Seeds and or Nirvana are newer growers and were used to smoking commercial crap and compared to that Green House and or Nirvana can seem pretty good. But when you try some of the top rated most experienced breeders with larger breeding stables, including landrace strains, you learn the difference between just being better enough than commercial to seem impressive and actually being darn good.
 
I have not grown them but got a pack of Peyote Purple, which is supposed to be a Katsu Bubba Kush s1. I have heard from several that this is the real deal. I know the rest of the genetics of the breeder Cannabiogen have a good rep and have grown out their Panama Red which was great smoke.
