be prepared for lockout as the nute solution gets concentrated, it can also cause nute burn too, best changing out the nute solution regularly. but lookin great for kratky

That's just a passive hydro system. I don't know why Kratky decided to claim it as his method, but that was the typical method for a newbie hydro grower.

With no airstones or circulation you will have to change the water often, and be sure to keep the nute soup temperature around 70.

Okay I got you now

i read somewhare that after you have topped the nutrient solution up with plain water equaling the same amount as the nutrient res holds. you then change the res out

i think kratky tops up with full strength solution of nutes, but this is not the way to do it. nutes are cheap and changing the whole nute res out offten is the way to go

Maybe too full, or not full enough.
Big change in water level can shock the plant alittle as it has two types of roots. Water roots, and air roots.
If you add too much water, the air roots start to drown, if you don't add enough they water roots dry out.
It should be fine after a few days of acclimation

Male are female.
