I'm leaving for thanksgiving weekend tomorrow, going back home... Should I just thoroughly flush the plant once before I go?

I've already flushed it twice within a period of 2 weeks.

But considering that i'm using Miracle-Gro Potting Mix.. I guess theres a shit load of excess ferts in there..

Thanks though... anyone else?

that seems like a solid plan... When you get back it should start looking normal again. Good luck

Man, you must either have a great vaccation plan or really love Thanksgiving.

From what I understand, if you "flush" soil with nutrients already added, all it does is release more nuits. The nuits are water release, so unless the nuits are already depleated, more nuits will be released.

Lol, you're definitely right.. but a little more reading would have also taught you that, alot of the nutrients are drained out with the water.

Anyone else??

you still having this problem, did you flush if you flush everything out with 8 times the size of the container you will drain out the nutrients then add one 8th a dose of your nutes so they have food water and let them go till the soil dries and then water again. Very important that you do not water to much or you will sufficate the roots

Sorry.. Umm.. the leaf tips arent that severly curled anymore, I heard it was due to severe light intensity.. and the plant actually causes its leaves to bend and curl to reduce surface area for the light... and i saw both those symptoms.. so decided to move the cfl's a bit further... and I did flush it too.. and it has grown insanely.. Pics :)

Oooh and Im thinking of using a dehumidifier.. but i don't have anythin to measure... any advice?

End of 5th week of veg.

where did you read it was light intensity. you dont have that problem with cfls. only when you put two big of a hps or mh to close, and that rarely happens anyway during 5 weeks of veg, maybe with the first week but no one really has that problem after the first week.

it was prob the nutes, or also that shit really happens when you water to much and sufficate the roots. the soil needs to dry. its hard to say during my two grows i had to deal with alot of problems, alot related to over fertilizing and root suffication. i had a 400 watt hps very close to my plants (5 pp and 5 snow whites) and never changed the distance and it wasnt a problem with my lighting intesity. they look good though keep it up. Growing is a learning curve

Yeah, Thats what I thought too.. but yeah it makes more sense, it could possibly be the fact that the roots are stil wet... ill give it a good week to dry out... should be enough...

Sending it into flowering in 2 weeks & 3 days :)

Thanks for the help.. appreciate it :)
