So the clone {gg4} was started in late April. Was thinking I would finish in the 10 gallon but it filled out the pot faster then I had planned{rookie}. Should I transplant it or am I to late with only 2-3 weeks before flower.
Cant stick in the ground my soil is horrible.
Thanks!

Any signs that it's rootbound?
Personally I would leave it, so long as you're watering and feeding it right, that looks like a good size pot for the plant. Are the tips of roots starting to poke out of the soil on top?

Lookin real nice. You could leave it in the pot and be on top of watering. Could also up pot. If it’s in a good spot which it appears to be you can dig a hole and add good soil. You could also cut the sides and bottom of the fabric pot and bury it in the hole if you don’t want to take it out of the pot. If it were mine and not worried about it getting taller then the fence (nosy neighbors/kids or whatever) I’d dig the hole and backfill with decent soil and remove completely from the pot. Won’t have to worry about drying out too quick and gain some height without the pot.

Thanks. Its a 10 gallon pot. Roots are out to edge of the pot. Not roots on top.

Not worried about the height. I'm completely enclosed and left poles long to add 2ft of lattice if need be. I worry about putting it in the ground because its mostly clay. Poor drainage.
What about putting in a 40 gallon bag? I could do a peat, compost, perlite pretty cheap. Not to late then?

Then I would think you're good. I've never grown in a pot that big, but the size of the plant to the size of the pot looks perfect based on my indoor grows. You want the plant to focus on flowering soon, not on growing new roots to fill the space.

I have about 4 inches max of top soil then lots of clay. What about raking mulch back and cutting bottom of pot?

My plant in the ground is in clay soil, and doing well, but I mostly attribute that to adding mycorrhizae to the initial soil. They break up clay really well, so the roots can penetrate. You may want to think about that for next year.

A much bigger pot than this one at least! I've been bringing her inside to force flowering since June 15th, and including the pot she's over 5 feet tall. The yellow leaves on the bottom are from a nute deficiency that has since been corrected.

Ful Power or any other humic/fulvic products to wonders for soil tilth and texture.

I’d transplant it. I did two last week from 12 to 20 gal pots and doing another tomorrow. Mine never skipped a beat. Couple branches got droopy for an hour or so then they carried on as per usual.
